Don't ya just love it when you find a new way to make something and you already have the stuff? Dawn McVey has a great video on You Tube that shows you how to make these cute paper flowers using a scalloped circle punch (which I just happen to have in my stash). This is why its great to have a stash. The ones with the repurposed book paper flowers are similar to the ones she demonstrated. The ones with the wrapping paper scraps are attached to our regular sized manilla luggage tags. The stamp on the tag is from Stampin Up.

Cookie Cutter Scraps
So after I made my cookie cutter hearts and flowers the other night, I had the leftovers to use up. This isn't like real cookies where you can reroll the dough and keep cutting. Too bad:(
So I chopped up all of the scraps and did the whole thing over again, minus the final white background layer. It was fun and the soaps turned out great- better than the picture actually. My only dilema is I ended up with.......wait for it.......more scraps!
I'm getting out my soap molds.

These tags come in two sizes. The coloured ones in pink, blue or green are 3 3/4 by 2 inches. The biege are 4 3/4 by 2 1/2 inches. They come undecorated but I've stuck a few flowers from chez Dollar Store on them to show how you can jazz them up with little effort or expense. Packages of 10 tags are $2.50. Buy 5 packages pay for 4.

Cards & Tags
With one 12 by 12 sheet of cardstock you can get two 6 by 6 inch cards. If you want 5 1/2 by 7 inch cards like the ones I've made here, you can only get one card out of a sheet. The good news is that you've got a nice piece left over thats perfect for making gift tags. So one 12 by 12 sheet of cardstock will give 4 nice sized gift tags if you are doing a 5 /12 by 7 inch card. Why am I making cards this size when I'm such a big fan of square cards? I have envelopes this size to use up.
Sorry the pictures aren't the best, I took them outside after work. Just couldn't stay inside, we've waited to long for nice weather to waste any of it:)
